24 hour cancellation policy

Cancellations: We require 24 hours notice prior to flight time to change or cancel your reservation. Reservations cancelled outside of 24 hours are fully refundable. Tours cancelled with less than 24 hours notice affect other guests booked and don’t allow enough time to resell the cancelled seats. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours will be assessed a 100% cancellation fee. No-shows will also be assessed a 100% cancellation fee. If you need to change or cancel your reservation please provide us 24 hours notice prior to your tour time and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Why Don't We Select a Specific Departure Time?

Helicopter KC arranges each flight in order to maximize level-of-service and ensure that the aircrafts are properly weighted and balanced.  Due to our standards, we are enabled to provide you with a specific flight time once we are provided with the passenger information delivered to your email.

You will be contacted with a confirmed flight time by noon (CST) at the email address or phone number you provided during purchase.

In order to ensure tour availability, please book ahead of time (at least 48 hours in advance).

Tour departure times, flight durations, route and viewing may vary due to weather and other uncontrollable events. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancels and no shows pay full fare. We reserve the right to refuse service. All prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees. All prices are subject to change.

Directions - where do we go to fly?

Due to our pilots being based across the KC Metro Area, the exact helicopter terminal for your trip will be delivered in your confirmation email to verify time and date.

Why are your pilots the best in the world?

Our pilots provide you with the best tour, excellent narration and knowledge of the city. We conduct training annually and all pilots must pass an F.A.A. flight check. We also bring outside professional instructors into our company every year to evaluate and train our pilots in the latest techniques and information.

What should we wear?

Wear whatever is comfortable for you. If you are going to take pictures, darker colors are better because it reduces the chance of reflections in your photos while in the helicopter.

Should we take anti-motion sickness pills beforehand?

Though we offer a smooth ride and most people do great, if you are the type that is prone to motion sickness, then it is suggested to take something before you fly.

Do you offer videos of the flight?

Our pilot’s focus is on narrating a fun tour over the cityscape while you enjoy the scene.  Since we want our pilots focusing on the experience, we unfortunately don’t have the resource to film.  If you would like to have a professional photographer join you (at their rates), we can recommend you.
